Favorite Pie at The Crown in Indianola, Mississippi since 1976!

What You'll Need:

1 stick (4oz) of butter or margarine (not tub or liquid)

3 eggs (or egg substitute)

1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, add dry ingredients package and eggs, stirring with a spoon until evenly mixed. Do not use a mixer. Pour mixture into crust and bake for about 50 min. or until done. Ovens vary and glass dishes require additional baking time. Don't overcook. Pie will set up more as it cools a bit. 

Add 1 cup of chopped nuts to the mixture before baking if you choose. Fudge Pie freezes perfectly and is delicious served with ice cream!
